FOCUS YOUR LAYERING
When you feel like braving the cold in a skirt or shorts, then focus the layering of your clothes up top. It’s amazing how much warmth a few layers actually keeps in. And don't be afraid of looking bulky. When done right, you could have up to five layers on and make it look like you're only wearing three! It's all about attention to detail. Make sure your collar pops out neatly from your jersey for instance, balance the bulky top half of your body with a pair of heels or platforms, and remember to mix textures for added interest.

DOUBLE UP THE PUFFERS
An easy way to stay warm this winter is by doubling up on your heavier layers like puffers. For an effortlessly cool look that will keep you extra warm, you could use a puffer gilet as your outermost layer. Stick to colour tones that complement each other for a cohesive look.
